GRAND FALLS, January 23rd, 2023 - The Grand Falls Police Force executed a search warrant on January 19 at a residence in Grand Falls LSD, as part of an investigation into stolen property. The search resulted in the seizure of $20,000 worth of stolen items and the arrest of an 37-year-old man.
In the early evening of January 13, 2024, the Grand Falls Police Force received a call about a break-in in progress on the property of Northern Construction. When officers arrived, damage to the fence surrounding the property was noted, and it was determined that this was the point of entry to the crime, and that various items had been stolen.
The suspect was arrested at the scene during the search and charged with possession of stolen property. He will remain in custody until the investigation is completed. The police force is continuing its investigation into other potential criminal charges.
