Severe Thunderstorm Watch – Grand Falls Region
Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Grand Falls region this afternoon and this evening. Weather conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing strong to damaging wind gusts, large hail, heavy rainfall and, in some areas, an isolated tornado. The Grand Falls Regional Municipality celebrated the recipients of the 2025–2026 Community Grandioses
On April 22, the Grand Falls Regional Municipality had the pleasure of celebrating the recipients of the 2025–2026 Community Grandioses. A wonderful evening filled with achievements! During National Volunteer Week, we are proud to honor the 13 Grandioses recipients. These exceptional individuals, through their passion and dedication, make a meaningful difference in our community every day. Boil Water Notice in Effect- Tobique, Madawaska and Burgess
