Severe Thunderstorm Watch – Grand Falls Region
Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Grand Falls region this afternoon and this evening. Weather conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing strong to damaging wind gusts, large hail, heavy rainfall and, in some areas, an isolated tornado. Notice- Tobique Road Area
The Municipality is working closely with various provincial government departments to implement measures aimed at ensuring public safety in response to the erosion issue affecting the Tobique Road area. With significant rainfall expected this weekend, we encourage residents in the area to remain vigilant and monitor their properties closely. The Grand Falls Regional Municipality celebrated the recipients of the 2025–2026 Community Grandioses
On April 22, the Grand Falls Regional Municipality had the pleasure of celebrating the recipients of the 2025–2026 Community Grandioses. A wonderful evening filled with achievements! During National Volunteer Week, we are proud to honor the 13 Grandioses recipients. These exceptional individuals, through their passion and dedication, make a meaningful difference in our community every day. In addition, the unveiling of the Recognition Wall also took place during the evening.

Boil Water Notice in Effect- Tobique, Madawaska and Burgess
UPDATE (April 27 at 11:25 a.m.) - The boil water advisory for this area has now been lifted. It is no longer necessary to boil water.Thank you for your patience. Boil Water Notice in Effect

Water Main Break - Chemin Ennishore Road
A water main break has occurred on Ennishore Road. Repair work will begin tomorrow, April 22, starting at 8:00 a.m. During the work, a portion of the road will be closed to traffic. A temporary interruption of water service is possible in this area. Affected residences will be notified directly at their door and will receive instructions to follow when service is restored.
