(Notice under Section 15 (3) of the Local Governance Act)
Notice is hereby given that the Grand Falls Town Council intends to adopt a by-law relating to the annual bonding of the officers and employees of Grand Falls.
The purpose of this by-law is to insure the municipality against any pecuniary or other losses as a result of fraudulent or dishonest acts committed by employees or officials of the regional municipality.
Interested persons may review the proposed amendment at the Clerk’s office at the Grand Falls Town Hall, 131 Pleasant Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday or on the grandfalls.com website.
Council will meet at the Town hall at 7:00 p.m. on February 15, 2023 and may proceed with the first reading at that time.
