Strengthening Community Connections: Cst. Jennifer Volpé Appointed Community Police Officer

GRAND FALLS, September 25, 2025 – The Grand Falls Police Force is pleased to announce the appointment of Cst. Jennifer Volpé as Community Police Officer, effective September 29, 2025. A member of the force since 2022, Cst. Volpé brings solid experience and an in-depth understanding of the community she serves.
In her new role, Cst. Volpé will work closely with all residents, children, adolescents, families, and seniors to develop and implement initiatives that promote collective well-being, prevention, and safety. Her responsibilities include creating programs tailored to local needs, organizing community activities, and carrying out educational and awareness initiatives related to public safety. She will also establish strong partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders.
“We are thrilled to see Cst. Volpé take on this key role within our police force. Through her commitment, knowledge of the community, and ability to build trust-based relationships, she will serve as a privileged liaison with the community,” said Chief Rick Blouin.
This appointment aligns directly with the Grand Falls Police Force’s strategy to be a municipal police service fully embedded in its community, emphasizing proximity, collaboration, and trust. Through this role, the GFPF reaffirms its commitment to developing strong and lasting relationships with all members of the community, placing education, prevention, and support at the heart of its work.
