Annual unidirectional flushing

Please be advised that the Municipality is currently undergoing a yearly unidirectional flushing of its main water pipes to keep ensuring safe, clean water continues to flow to your homes.

Unidirectional flushing is a proactive method of cleaning water distribution pipes to improve water quality.

You may experience discolored water during and after the flushing has occurred. Running the cold water lines in your home or business after the flushing is complete usually clears up any discoloration.

This flushing will last approximately one to two weeks. No further actions will need to be made by citizens.
