Hélène Pelletier, Grandiose coomunautaire Bénévole, Grand-Sault

HÉLÈNE PELLETIER

Since arriving in Grand Falls in 2017, Hélène has quickly distinguished herself as a dedicated and generous volunteer. Through her energy, creativity, and constant desire to contribute to the well-being of others, she has enriched community life in many meaningful ways.

She plays an active role in organizing several activities that bring families together and help energize our community. She is also the initiator of the Leisure Fair and makes a significant contribution to the Municipality’s cultural policy committee as well as the FestiPEUR committee, where her involvement and ideas support the development of important community projects.

Hélène collaborates with the Newcomers Centre and organizes various activities for children, while also working with several local organizations to promote inclusion and the well-being of all. Through these efforts, she helps build a community that is open, welcoming, and accessible to everyone.

Among her many achievements, we highlight her participation in the Drummond inclusive park project, which promotes accessibility and enjoyment for all children. She has also served as a badminton and cross-country coach, where she has passed on to young people the values of perseverance, effort, and personal growth.

Through her steady dedication, inclusive vision, and strong initiative, Hélène fully embodies the values of volunteerism and community engagement. Hélène, thank you for your inspiring commitment, and congratulations on this well-deserved recognition.

Christianne Bélanger, Grandiose communautaire Ambassadeur, Grand-Sault

CHRISTIANNE BÉLANGER

Christianne has transformed her passion for music into an internationally acclaimed career. After completing her studies at the Université de Moncton and the Université de Montréal, she made her professional debut with the Montreal Opera in 2011 and has since performed on prestigious stages across Canada, Europe, and Asia.

Throughout her career, she has performed as a soloist with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, sung the title role in Carmen with the Trois-Rivières Symphony Orchestra, and won First Prize at the Canari International Singing Competition in Corsica. She has also continued her career in France, China, and Germany, where she has earned a strong reputation in the world of opera.

Despite her international success, Christianne remains deeply connected to her roots. We are especially pleased to highlight her return to New Brunswick as a Voice Professor at the Université de Moncton for the 2026–2027 academic year, where she will help nurture and inspire the next generation of musical and artistic talent.

We proudly recognize her many accomplishments and her exceptional contribution to the musical arts at the provincial, national, and international levels.
