UPDATE (April 27 at 11:25 a.m.) - The boil water advisory for this area has now been lifted. It is no longer necessary to boil water.Thank you for your patience.
The Grand Falls Regional Municipality wishes to inform residents in the following area that a boil water advisory is currently in effect following a water main break that has now been repaired.
Tobique Road : 45, 55 et 59
Madwaska Road : 24 et 36
Burgess Street: 50 et 74
All water intended for human consumption, including drinking, preparation of infant formula and juices, making ice cubes, washing fruits and vegetables, cooking, and brushing teeth, must be brought to a rolling boil for at least one (1) minute. Water used for other household purposes does not need to be boiled.
This advisory remains in effect until further notice and is being issued as a precautionary measure. A public notice will be issued once the advisory has been lifted. The Municipality regrets any inconvenience this may cause.
