BY-LAW - The collection and disposal of garbage

Notice under Section 15 (3) of the Local Governance Act)

A public notice is hereby given that the Grand Falls Municipal Council intends to adopt a by-law relating to the collection and disposal of garbage.

The purpose of this by-law is to regulate the collection and disposal of garbage in the Grand Falls Regional Municipality. It defines the responsibilities of occupants, the rules for regular and special collections, as well as the general provisions to ensure adequate waste management.

Interested persons may review the proposed amendment at the Clerk’s office at the Grand Falls Town Hall, 131 Pleasant Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday or on the www.grandfalls.com website.

Council will meet at the Town hall at 7:00 p.m. on May 15th, 2024, and may proceed with the first reading at that time.
