Veille d’orages violents – Région de Grand-Sault -14 juillet 2026,

Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Grand Falls region this afternoon and this evening.

Weather conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing strong to damaging wind gusts, large hail, heavy rainfall and, in some areas, an isolated tornado.

The Municipality encourages residents to remain alert, secure outdoor items that could be blown away by strong winds, and monitor weather conditions. If a severe thunderstorm develops, seek shelter in a sturdy building and avoid outdoor activities until conditions improve.
