Spring Cleaning: A record year thanks to the efforts of 11 volunteer groups

GRAND FALLS, May 3, 2025 - Thanks to the tremendous participation of 11 groups and a total of 141 volunteers, over 24 km of main roads in our municipality were cleaned, with an impressive total of 3,418 pounds (or 1.550 tons) of garbage collected!

The Municipality is very fortunate to have so many people contributing their time, dedication and energy to its annual spring clean-up initiative. These individuals make a real difference to our environment and our community.

The involvement of valued employees and partners McCain Foods and NorthWest Sanitation Services Ltd. was greatly appreciated and did not go overlooked for the manpower and financial support that were essential to the day's success.
