No. 2026-09-14 - Stormwater Channel Rehabilitation Basin Street Lift Station

Sealed tenders clearly marked “Grand Falls Regional Municipality Tender No. 2026-09-14 – Basin Street Lift Station – Stormwater Channel Rehabilitation” will be received at the offices of the Grand Falls Regional Municipality, located at 131 Pleasant Street, Suite 200, Grand Falls, New Brunswick, until 2:00 p.m. local time on September 14, 2026. The name of the bidding firm and the tender closing date shall also be clearly indicated on the envelope. Tenders will be opened publicly immediately following the closing time.

The proposed work generally consists of regrading and placing riprap armour stone along a stormwater channel located between the Basin Street Lift Station and NB Power’s Grand Falls Generating Station.

Each tender shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total tender price, including HST. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance securities in accordance with the requirements of the tender documents.

The latest version of New Brunswick Regulation 2022-78 under the Public Purchasing Act, as amended, applies to this tender.

Contractors responding to this Notice of Tender are advised that official tender documents may only be obtained directly from GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists Limited (GEMTEC). Only contractors who have obtained the tender documents directly from GEMTEC will be eligible to submit a tender for this project.

Digital tender documents may be obtained by submitting a request to GrandFalls@gemtec.ca and upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of $100.00, including HST.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

The award of the contract is conditional upon funding approval.
