Notice - Rezoning Project Mockler St., Grand Falls

(Under Section 111 of the Community Planning Act, 2017, c. 19)

Notice is hereby given that the Grand Falls Municipal Council intends to consider amendments to By-law No. 1900 entitled “Zoning By-Law”.

The objective of the proposed change is to rezone the property bearing PID 35358894, belonging to Terry Toner and Marc-André Ouellette, and located on Mockler Street in Grand Falls, NB. 

The purpose of this amendment is to ensure that the zoning is compliant to accommodate a multi-unit residential building, as shown in Schedule A-2026-23.

Rezone the property having the PID 35358894 from R2B (Single and two-unit residential) zone to R2C (Single and two-unit and multiple  residential) zone

The proposed by-law may be viewed by any interested person on any day, Monday to Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 131 Pleasant Street, Grand Falls, NB.

A meeting to consider written objections to the proposed changes will be held on Tuesday, August 18^th, 2026, at 7 p.m. in the Council Room at Municipal Building, 131 Pleasant Street in Grand Falls, NB.  Any person who wishes to speak for or against the written objections is entitled to be heard.
