By-law respecting the meeting procedures of the Grand Falls Town Council
(Notice under Section 15 (3) of the Local Governance Act)
A public notice is hereby given that the Grand Falls Municipal Council intends to
adopt a by-law respecting the meeting procedures of the Grand Falls Town Council.
The purpose of the amendments to the bylaw is to determine the procedures for
committee of the whole meetings to the public, the procedures for interventions with
the council and the procedure for answering questions from the public at an ordinary or
extraordinary meeting.
Interested persons may review the proposed amendment at the Clerk’s office at the Grand
Falls Town Hall, 131 Pleasant Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday or on the www.grandfalls.com website.
Council will meet at the Town hall at 7:00 p.m. on March 15, 2023 and may proceed with the first reading at that time.
