Notice is hereby given that the Grand Falls Municipal Council intends to consider

amendments to the Saint-André Rural Plan, Bylaw 8-2016.Notice is hereby given that the Grand Falls Municipal Council intends to consider amendments to the Saint-André Rural Plan, Bylaw 8-2016.

The objective of the proposed change is to rezone the northern part of the property bearing PID 35374933 from Agricultural to Industrial and to change the zoning of the southern part of the property bearing PID 35374933 from Mixed to Industrial.

The purpose of this amendment is to allow for the installation of a rail transshipment facility.

The proposed by-law may be viewed by any interested person on any day, Monday to Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 131 Pleasant Street, Grand Falls, NB.

A meeting to consider written objections to the proposed changes will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2025, at 7 p.m. in the Council Room at the Municipal Building, 131 Pleasant Street in Grand Falls, NB. Any person who wishes to speak for or against the projec is entitled to be heard.
