TEMPORARY WATER INTERRUPTION AND BOIL WATER ADVISORY NOTICE - SAINT-ANDRÉ NEIGHBOURHOOD

June 17, 2025 - 12:00 p.m. - Due to unforeseen circumstances during work to connect the water and sewer system in the Saint-André neighbourhood, please be advised that the water service will be temporarily interrupted effective immediately between the CN railroad track on Route 255 to civic redisential number 225 on route 255 (including side streets along this section of main road)
This temporary shutdown is necessary to complete urgent repairs and ensure the work is carried out safely.
Once water service is restored (estimated by the end of today), a Boil Water Advisory will be in effect for all affected residents until further notice.
During the boil water advisory :
All water used for the following must be brought to a rolling boil for at least 1 minute:
• Drinking
• Preparing baby formula and juices
• Making ice
• Washing fruits and vegetables
• Cooking
• Brushing teeth
Unless otherwise advised by the Department of Health, boiling water is not required for household cleaning or personal hygiene (ex: showering or bathing).
